HBO Max reminds us of our past
Ahead of Prime Video’s exciting and much anticipated premiere of ‘The Rings of Power’, HBO Max took the opportunity to claim some top real estate within Google TV in order to promote ‘The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring’, encouraging viewership from anyone in need of a ‘Middle-earth’ refresher course. A smart move to jump on the back of Prime Video’s huge release, but just you wait and see what they did to steal attention away from the actual launch – all will be revealed in September’s Merchandiser of the Month
