Looper Insights is a London, LA based SaaS company tracking Film, TV and Apps For Platforms, Service Providers and Content Owners.
The Junior Data Curator/Analyst is a member of the Customer Success (CS) team and is part of the team responsible for maintaining the quality of our data through curation and cleaning with the longer term goal of improving and automating current processes. The candidate will report directly to the Head of CS and will learn about all aspects of our data gathering operation including how to gather, clean and present to clients. The role will include learning about databases, A.I., working with Tableau software and creating automation processes and tools.
The ideal candidate for this role will be highly detail oriented and methodical with a love of solving problems to capture the correct data. Must have passion and perseverance to achieve our companies goals of changing our industry and the way it uses data.
Key attributes are a customer first mentality, an agile and adaptable mindset, self-motivated, and capacity to give and receive constructive criticism. A willingness to learn, and a curious mind to drive their own learning and innovation and willingness to share that knowledge with the team.
Educated to at least Bachelor’s degree or equivalent technical qualification
Proficiency in MS Excel e.g data manipulation, filtering
Excellent communication skills; ability to self manage and adapt to changing requirements and explain complex findings to stakeholders
Solid data analysis skills combined with an adaptable logical approach to problem solving
Adept and finding potential solutions to solve problems and improve efficiencies
Identify areas where resources fall short of needs and provide thoughtful and sustainable solutions to benefit the team
Understanding of relational databases including MySQL a plus but not required.
Any SQL experience, preferably with MySQL/ MS SQL or similar and basic Python experience also a plus
Preferably PST or EST timezones), working with a team on EDT (US East Coast) and GMT (UK) timezones
