Prime Video takes back 1st place for total

We looked at 12 devices* in the U.S. to see which titles were winning the Top Promotional real estate.
Prime Video knocks HBO Max back into 2nd with the highest accumulative MPV™ score. Despite Prime Video having less Premium titles, it is beating other major streamers with attention to merchandising detail across their entire catalogue.
For the top 10 titles, Peacock comfortably takes 1st place with ‘Yellowstone’ capturing the highest MPV™, boasting a score 31% higher than HBO Max’s ‘The White Lotus’ in 2nd place.

Latecomer ‘Jack Ryan’ commands a place in the top 10 titles
Despite ‘Tom Clancy’s Jack Ryan, Season 3’ launching late December, the title claimed an impressive MPV™ score with an assortment of eye-catching Top Placements. Securing Prime Video a spot in the top 10 titles, the New Release was just behind Prime Video’s ‘Three Pines’ in terms of MPV™ score, despite a much earlier release, 2nd December.
With bold text and the Prime Video logo making it clear to users Where to Watch this title, the App was sure to win over the hearts of those on the hunt for some fantastic binge-watching over the festive period.

Discovery+ and HBO Max both packaged and promoted a tempting trio of their Christmas films in the Top Placements.
With a clear Call to Action on Where to Watch the content and a slate demonstrating that there would be no chance of their festive offering drying up, these Apps were sure to be gifted a net of new subscribers.

Re-packaging really does make perfect, especially in the form of a Christmas present, which NOW makes a great example of.
NOW made it difficult for users to refuse their festive treat, refreshing the artwork for the latest ‘Batman’ release with a tantalizing Call to Action, “Unwrap the Action”. Additionally, the App promoted a 50% off deal alongside a slate of trending and therefore eye-catching content.
