Disney+ overtakes Paramount+
We looked at 12 devices* in the U.S. to see who was winning the top promotional real estate. It was SHOWTIME’s moment to take the spotlight in 10th, knocking out STARZ from the top 10. Disney+ overtakes Paramount+ to take 7th

HBO Max rules the digital land
In July, HBO Max ruled the digital storefronts with some serious promotional punches, snapping up major real estate to promote titles such as ‘Game of Thrones’, ‘Westworld’ and ‘Pretty Little Liars: Original Sin’
There was a handful of creative and interactive tactics being used to raise the stakes amongst the streaming apps, including QR codes, 30-day free trials and TV marathon call-to-actions
Claro saw an artwork refresh every week for the promotion of ‘Game of Thrones’, HBO Max showcasing a marathon whilst offering users a different free season every weekend, driving engagement and asserting super exposure in the lead up to the release of ‘House of the Dragon’

Tubi, Discovery+ and Disney+ sink their teeth into Shark Week
July saw some major attacks from Tubi, Discovery+ and Disney+ on the likes of Roku, Xfinity, Xbox, Cox CSP and Google TV, putting their best shark related content forward in order to take advantage of “Shark Week”
The winner? Discovery+, with an epic display of varied promotional materials and coverage across the most devices

Prime Video on an unmissable mission
Prime Video’s ‘The Terminal List’ made it their mission this month to be unmissable for those hunting down some new and exciting content
With well known actor Chris Pratt at the centre of the promotional artwork, the title successfully captured Top Carousel and Epics placements, securing great coverage across the likes of Orange FR, Vivo BR, Cox C2 US and Sky Q UK, obtaining a total of 4 spots across Apple TV in the U.S.

Netflix pleases the fans
“Volume 2 is here” cried Netflix in July, signalling to all fans of their hit show ‘Stranger Things’ where the second release and the much anticipated finale was available to stream
A variety of vibrant, chilling artwork used the well associated colours of the show to draw all eyes their way, and my oh my, it was worth the wait
