Apple TV+ climbs to the top, whilst AMC+ falls off the leaderboard

This month we looked at 12 devices* in the U.S. to see who was claiming the top placements across all. Apple TV+ has climbed up the ranks from 7th to 3rd place in the last month, with a huge score increase of 6,500

Pluto TV also entered the race in 10th place, knocking out AMC+ from the leaderboard

BBC iPlayer gets a huge backing, thanks to Peaky Blinders
This month on Apple TV UK, we saw BBC’s premiere for the final season of ‘Peaky Blinders’
wipeout the competition with Top Carousel placements and a star-studded dedicated row

With 19 spots in total across Apple TV, 8 promoting the show’s previous seasons,
everyone was alerted to Tommy Shelby being back on the block in his typical Top Dog position
Paramount+, Apple TV+ and HBO Max propose a triple threat
March 2022 was a month that saw many streaming Apps pushing their content to the centre of the ring, with hopes of giving users a hook
The most common display saw 3 opponents per App entering the fight for subscribers

With stunning, un-missable visuals of key talent accompanied by branded taglines such as ‘A Mountain Of Entertainment’ and ‘Women Who Move Mountains’,
users were served up one hell of a show, with clear instruction on how to get a front row seat
Apple TV+ is making killer waves

Xfinity US
Apple TV+ jumped at the chance to promote content amidst its launch on Xfinity, managing to secure a uniquely large space within the ‘Home’ and ‘Apps’ tabs. Promoting availability of the App, Apple TV+ tempted users with a limited time offer of 1 week to watch Apple TV+ Originals for free
Keen to dominate, Apple TV+ even continued to push their content in the key promotional areas of the likes of Google TV, despite recently removing the ability to sign up for a subscription on Android TV devices

Sky Q UK
Apple TV+ continued to impress the masses with a never seen before dedicated row within Sky Q, to promote a 3-month free trial alongside their impressive, current content slate
The promotion, which held the 1st row of the ‘Home’ tab, held a total of 15 spots, serving up users plenty of options to tickle their taste buds. The same offer could also be found on PlayStation 4 in the U.S., UK, Germany and France
Disney+ takes it all, leaving HBO Max standing small
This month saw Disney+ and HBO Max battle it out on the dance floor with the launch of the same title ‘West Side Story’ on Apple TV US,
something that is rarely seen on any storefront

Disney+ scored a 10 and impressed the judges, securing more placements than HBO Max and giving them the edge
