Location: Remote role (UK) with occasional travel to London
We’re looking for a Partner/Project Manager to join us to manage the technical & physical deployment of the hardware for our connected device analytics solution.
What is Looper?
Looper Insights is in the Film/TV video on demand (VoD) industry. We have Labs in London and Los Angeles, enabling us to capture data on Movies and TV that are currently available on specific VoD stores.
What you’ll do
Working with our commercial and software teams to successfully deliver the integral hardware component of our solution to firm deadlines.
Understanding the technical requirements of our solution and sourcing components as and when necessary.
Rollout a network of Looper’s Labs globally.
Build relationships with Hardware/Software manufacturers to keep our developers abreast of industry developments
This role reports to the Head of R&D and is suited to an individual with experience of managing the end to end delivery and maintenance of hardware products. Proactive and used to overcoming the inevitable hurdles and delivery blockers (even if it’s ‘we need another plug socket’), the position would be ideal for a self starter with experience of a startup going through rapid scaling and who wants to grow their role alongside the company.
Highly numerate and literate in English – other languages a bonus
Has a good understanding of technology/software stacks or a keen interest to learn whilst on the job
Adaptable. As a scale-up, being nimble means we can quickly change direction to deliver over and above expectations. You need to be comfortable with this
Familiarity with remote first tools like Slack, Zoom, Google docs
