Reacher, Adolescence & The White Lotus Dominate March Streaming in the UK

UK Edition - Streamer of the Month: March 2025

Reacher, Adolescence & The White Lotus Dominate March Streaming in the UK

Formerly known as Merchandiser of the Month, the UK’s newly rebranded Streamer of the Month report continues to spotlight the most impactful promotional strategies across Connected TV devices. While the name has changed, the goal remains the same: to recognise the streamers and titles generating the highest digital visibility, measured through our proprietary MPV™ (Media Placement Value™) metric.

March delivered a fresh wave of competition, as platforms rolled out returning hits, bold originals, and record breakers in a bid to claim the top spot. But with attention harder than ever to capture – and even harder to keep – which service stood out? For the full app and title rankings, and a closer look at the month’s biggest moves, dive into the March UK Streamer of the Month report.

Prime Video climbed to the top of the charts in terms of titles, with Reacher powering a sharp rise in promotional impact, earning an impressive MPV™ score of 2,013. Close behind, Apple TV+’s Severance cooled slightly but continued to hold attention across key UK platforms. New and returning series also had their moment – NOW’s The White Lotus gained momentum, while Paramount+’s 1923 made a strong case for the enduring appeal of high-stakes drama.

Public Service Broadcasters (PSBs) kept a consistent showing, with three titles holding firm in the Top 10. ITVX’s Unforgotten remained a standout, alongside The Bay and BBC iPlayer’s The Apprentice, both of which helped the PSB slate punch above its weight in a month dominated by international players. They may not have topped the charts, but they weren’t out of the race either. Curious how closely they challenged the frontrunners on MPV™? The full story’s in the March UK Streamer of the Month report.

The bigger streaming story, though, came from Netflix. In a historic moment for the medium, Adolescence became the first streaming original to top the UK’s weekly TV ratings – surpassing long-standing broadcast favourites and sparking a national conversation. Its breakout performance not only reflects shifting viewing habits but signals a turning point in how success is measured across the industry.

With new records set, promotional tactics shifting, and attention more competitive than ever, March offered a clear view of the UK streaming landscape in motion. Want to know who claimed the title of Streamer of the Month, and which titles truly dominated? It’s all in the full report here – rankings, insights, and every key move that shaped the month.
