LONDON, 5 October 2026 — Looper Insights, the independent data layer for CTV interface intelligence, today announced the launch of new chat functionality, powered by Looper AI. The new functionality gives studios and streamers a more direct way to work with their Looper data, allowing teams to ask natural-language questions and receive an answer, chart, summary and the underlying source table in a single response.
Available to Looper Insights clients across Connected Devices and Webstores, the new functionality turns questions about visibility, placements, competitors, titles and market performance into queries against the client’s live Looper data. Rather than exporting information into spreadsheets or external AI tools, teams can move directly from question to analysis, using the same data and measurement methodology that underpin the rest of their service.
Users can ask questions ranging from “Show me our weekly MPV trend for the last eight weeks” to “What is our share of voice on Prime Video Channels?” or “How has our platform ranking changed quarter on quarter?”. Powered by Looper AI, the functionality interprets the question while the database performs the calculations, ensuring the figures returned come directly from Looper data rather than being generated by the AI model.
Every response is designed to be checked. Alongside the written analysis, users receive the underlying data table, downloadable as a CSV, a chart, a summary of the filters used and suggested follow-up questions. Where a request is ambiguous, for example where the same title exists across multiple regions or release years, the system asks for clarification rather than making an assumption.
“At a time when CTV home screens have become premium media inventory, the challenge for our clients is no longer simply having access to data. It is getting from a question to a reliable answer quickly,” said Lucas Bertrand, CEO and founder of Looper Insights. “Our new chat functionality, powered by Looper AI, gives teams direct access to the CTV interface intelligence they already rely on, while showing them exactly where every answer comes from. The aim is to remove the manual work without removing the rigour.”
Key Benefits Include:
- Faster Access to Answers: Teams can ask questions directly of their Looper data, without manually exporting datasets or waiting for an analyst to build the analysis.
- Verifiable by Design: Every answer includes the data table behind the analysis, making it possible to check figures before they are used in reports, presentations or commercial discussions.
- Built on Looper Methodology: The functionality works from the same definitions, measurement methodology and data used across Looper Insights, including its proprietary Media Placement Value metric ($MPV™).
- Context-Aware Analysis: More complex questions can be broken into multiple steps, with ambiguous requests clarified and figures checked before a response is returned.
- Secure Client Data: The functionality can only query data the client organisation already subscribes to. Queries are read-only, client data remains separated by organisation, and Looper does not use client data or questions to train or fine-tune AI models.
At the centre of Looper Insights’ CTV interface intelligence is its proprietary Media Placement Value metric ($MPV™), which assigns a standardised monetary value to any CTV interface placement, whether paid, editorial or algorithmic. This gives buyers and sellers of CTV interface media a neutral benchmark for understanding the commercial value of visibility, alongside data on placement compliance, competitive position and campaign prominence.
The new chat functionality also forms part of a broader shift in how clients can access Looper’s independent dataset. Clients can query their data directly through functionality powered by Looper AI, access it programmatically through Looper’s API, or receive scheduled reports that arrive analysed rather than raw. Public MCP access, enabling clients to connect Looper data directly into AI tools such as Copilot, Claude and ChatGPT, is also planned.
The new chat functionality, powered by Looper AI, is available from 5 October to studio and streamer clients on Connected Devices and Webstores. Each organisation receives 500 credits per month as part of its existing contract, shared across its users at no additional cost. Additional credits and Enterprise monthly packs are available through Looper Insights account managers.
